Hillside Elementary Spring Fair = pure magic. 🔔
Kids picked up phones their parents grew up with. They figured out how to dial. They called each other from three feet away and acted like they'd just discovered a new technology. They twirled the cords without anyone teaching them how.
If you'd told us a year ago that "kids using phones from 1992" would be one of the most reliable joys at a school fair, we'd have laughed. But here we are, and we get to keep doing it.
Huge thanks to Hillside Elementary for having us, and to every parent who stopped by the table to chat about screen-free childhood.

Last week at Cold Spring Elementary's 90s Party, the Ring Ring table was busy. 🔔
Kids picked up the handsets calling each other from across the table. They twirled the cord around their fingers without anyone teaching them how. Apparently that part is genetic (figuring out how to dial is not).
