In addition to our scholarship awards, our dancers delivered outstanding performances during the RADIX Dance Convention competition. Our Mini and Dream team dancers brought home our very first Palladium award—twice! What’s Palladium? It’s a rare, precious metal valued even higher than gold! These talented dancers finished the awards ceremony with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place out of 20 routines!

Not to be outdone, our Dream, Junior, and All-Star routines scored 3rd place as well. We couldn’t be prouder of these amazing accomplishments!

Our competition season kicked off this weekend at RADIX Dance Convention, and we couldn’t be happier with the results! Radix is always a highlight in our competition lineup, and we’re already looking forward to returning!

We’re thrilled to announce that we had SIX Dancerpalooza scholarship winners:
- Willa won for Ballet
- Caitlyn and Teah for Contemporary and Jazz
- Ella, Alina, and Cienna (all competing for the first time!) won for Hip Hop

It is with profound sadness that we acknowledge the passing of Judith Jamison, an extraordinary icon whose legacy will forever inspire dancers around the world. Ms. Jamison dedicated her life to sharing her passion, brilliance, and creativity through the transformative power of dance. As a key figure in the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, her impact on the dance community has been nothing short of monumental.

In our Ailey programs, we are committed to honoring her legacy and continuing her mission. We will strive to uplift her message, reminding dancers of every age and background to express their stories, voices, and dreams. Ms. Jamison believed that dance could bring light, joy, and healing, and we remain dedicated to carrying forward her spirit, grace, and vision. She will be deeply missed, but her legacy will continue to inspire, uplift, and live on through every step, leap, and expression.

It has taken us a couple of days to gather our thoughts…

We are deeply saddened to share that our beloved instructor, Linda Steele II, has passed away.

She was not only an incredible instructor but also a very sweet and deeply loved member of the dance community. Her passion for dance and her kindness touched the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Linda’s legacy will live on through the countless lives she influenced and the joy she brought to our studio. We will miss her dearly and remember her fondly.
