I'm a sailmaker and boatwright by trade and work on all sorts of handmade projects in my free time. CargoCulture is my solution.
My day job is pretty seasonal and I'm one of those people who likes a lot of variety in my activities to hold my interest. My side projects are currently all textiles and are primarily accessories. I make my own patterns and designs, so each piece is truly unique. I do my best to give each project a finishing touch and a bit of a flourish. This past Sunday the Bay celebrated the Golden Gate Bridge 75th Anniversary with some kick-ass fireworks. I'll post the full show and a shorter excerpt that's filmed closer to the waterline, so you can get an idea of what those of us on boats were seeing :D
