The Downtown Berkeley MusicFest Kick-off Concert drew its biggest crowds yet with East Bay Brass Band (EB3) and Alta California. The mashups of traditional New Orleans big band tunes with popular songs from artists like Britney Spears filled Downtown Berkeley with swinging rhythm! Alta California took it to the next level with spicy latin "rumba equina" - a combination of Cuban rumba, flamenco, salsa, latin funk and more that got the whole crowd dancing!
