So we heard that some stores are running out of bread. Good thing we have a connection (we happen to know a guy 😉). Everyday favorites as well are seasonal specialities such as this Irish soda bread. Made fresh and delivery available!

As we look to the next month or two with the new restrictions put in place, we would like to offer this chance to let you know that we do deliver to many local towns. We do all the day to day bread items like white and wheat bread (in loafs and rolls), french bread and dinner rolls as well as our customary pastries.

We know most parties now will have to be scaled back but we also make small versions of many of our popular cakes.

Do you know about the Buchanan Street Strolls? Belvidere is starting an awesome new event for the remainder of summer and into fall! 4 days have been scheduled with the first one THIS SUNDAY! 😊 Food trucks, music, vendors and of course the wonderful businesses here on Buchanan St. will offer a nice, pleasant and relaxing atmosphere to walk around and enjoy a part of downtown Belvidere. We will be open extended hours for the Stroll and will have a line up of delectable treats 🎂🍩🍰 Come check it out!!! :D

Good afternoon all. I have two announcements to make about our bakery.

First we are finally going through the last stage to open our bakery as a traditional bakery! For many years we have been a wholesale and made to order bakery and have been slowly crossing into a custom and traditional bakery. We are changing our storefront so for the next week we will not be open except to make and pick up orders (please pardon our mess!). Starting about the 2nd weekend of June we will start having special selections available every weekend. We wil be showcasing some current favorites such as our delicious pastries and pies and will have some selections of our specialty cakes and cupcakes. We hope this will be the begin of a new weekend tradition!

The second announcement is that due to past experiences we will be a bit more strict in our ordering procedures. I have kept our small family bakery as open and friendly as possible but as of late it has not been working. Large orders, for example wedding orders, will need to sign a contract and place a non refundable deposits to confirm and hold the date. Mid range orders will have to place a 25% deposit but if you cancel up to a week before your event it will be refunded. I will also have what to do if you are not satsified with an order (very, *very* rare but just in case).

We will be closed tomorrow (Monday 4/1) for maintenance and cleaning due to an upgrade in equipment. We will reopen at 9am Tuesday at regular hours :)
