Gwen Pomykal celebrated her 50th Birthday at Tirzah. It was a surprise party with her family and friends. After the special event one hostess said, “Gwen was surprised and shocked! We have never been able to surprise her like that!!”

The color of the celebration was the traditional 50th gold color theme. They served refreshments downstairs consisting of sandwiches, chips and dips, veggies and more that family and friends brought in. Then they served cake and had fun taking pictures in a Photo Booth upstairs.

The hostess also stated these sweet words after the celebration that made my heart smile, “Everything went great! Everyone loved your place, and the digital Photo Booth was a hit!!! Thank you so much!!“ 🥰

Danny and Barbara Allcorn celebrated their 30th Wedding Anniversary at Tirzah. They were married in Richmond, Texas, and they have a total of six children together.

The color theme for the special celebration was Hunter Green and Gold. Green is the color for the 30 Year Anniversary; the color is associated with harmony, freshness, and growth.

A delicious meal was served that included buttered noodles with burgundy beef tips, green beans almandine, a garden salad, and dinner rolls.

They had a gorgeous 3-tiered cake with gold flakes. Each layer was a different flavor; the top was strawberry champagne; the middle was salted caramel; and the bottom was death by chocolate.

We wish this sweet couple much love, laughter, and happily ever after!! ✨💚✨

Naomi celebrated her 5th Birthday at Tirzah with a Gabby’s Dollhouse themed party. Everyone wore magical cat headbands that lit up and took them on an amazing adventure.

Funtastic games were played such as a balancing act of Table and Chair, Baby Dolls, a Cotton Ball on a Plastic Spoon Relay Race, and Unicorn Operation. 🦄

Naomi received fancy shoes and a pretty dress as gifts so she had a wardrobe change at the celebration.

Liam Alexander ArmendarIz was Baptized at Christ the King Catholic Church in Belton. Afterwards, a Baptism Reception was held at Tirzah in his honor.

The color scheme was turquoise, silver, and white. A delicious meal was prepared by Over The Plate for the celebration.

Color Your World With Love! ♥️🖍️

Today is National Coloring Book Day. This holiday brought back magical memories from our Crayons and Cookies Coloring Party. We collected crayons to be donated to The Crayon Initiative who then melts the crayons down, transforms them into new crayons, and then the colors are donated to Children’s hospitals across the United States to bring a smile to others.

The simple pleasures of coloring, making friends, hearing children's laughter, helping the community are life's treasures. The Belton Journal wrote a beautiful story on the event by journalist Heather Regula which is at the end … Broken Crayons Still Color! 💜💙💖💛💚

Blushing In Love 🩷

A beautiful Bridal Shower was held at Tirzah honoring Kailey Louise Walker, the future Mrs. Horton. The theme of the shower was “Blushing in Love.” The colors of the celebration were shades of pink and accented with black and gold.

Refreshments were served that included Chick-fil-A, fruit, and several delectable homemade desserts to choose from. A gorgeous punch bowl was used to serve a refreshing fruit punch.

Guests were asked to bring recipes to create a cookbook for the Mr. and Mrs. to use year after year. The recipe from Kailey’s Aunt Krystal made me laugh. 🤣

Games were played upstairs such as a Balloon Pump Race, Tissue Box with Ping Pong Balls, Toilet Tissue to design a Bride’s Dress, and throughout the shower was a Ring Hunt.

Party Favors were given to guests that said, “Thank you for showering Kailey.”

Bridget and Tarah (bonus mom and mom of the Bride) left some oreo balls and oreo pudding for me and Cory to enjoy! These goodies were delicious!! 😋

National Lollipop Day! 🍭

National Lollipop Day on July 20 celebrates the invention of the lollipop, how it brightens every childhood, and makes everyone happy! It is a fun day that children of all ages can celebrate.

Do you call it a Lollipop or a Sucker? What is your favorite flavor to savor?

Whatababy Girl! 🧡

George and Kaitlyn Flores had a beautiful baby shower at Tirzah. They are expecting a baby girl. The theme was Whatababy!! While decorating, the Dad and Mom-To-Be were wearing WhatADad and WhatAMom t-shirts, and then they had a wardrobe change for the event.

The colors of the celebration were a soft orange hue and white for Whataburger with a little peach and mint incorporated too. Their last name translates to flowers so they had flowers sprinkled about.

At the shower, the Couple shared the baby’s first name with their family. They are waiting to share the baby’s middle name until after she is born.

Baby games were played at the shower such as Guess The Number of Pacifiers. Prizes for the games were Whataburger gift cards.

A brother-in-law (and sister Amanda) was waiting outside with a rocking chair to surprise the Couple.

The Mom-To-Be was so sweet and thoughtful. She knew that Cory and I love to have breakfast at Whataburger, and she gave a Whataburger Cookie to both me and Cory. The cute cookie was delicious!! 😋

We wish this sweet family many beautiful blessings. ✨🧡✨

The baby girl has since arrived, and her name is Eleanor Elizabeth. Her middle name is after Kaitlyn’s grandmother, and it is also her mother's middle name. 🥰

Her next chapter will be to attend Temple College in the Radiology program to take x-rays or to be a stenographer.

Hailea’s school colors of green and gold were the colors of the special celebration. There was an awesome balloon backdrop to take pictures to treasure this magical time.

They served chicken and beef fajitas with all of the trimmings. There was a beautiful cake, cupcakes, and cookies.

Temple Dental Trails and Lakewood Dental Trails had a Motivational Meeting at Tirzah with a “happiness” theme. As children, our first playground rule is to have fun. The two offices met together and then had break out sessions.

Kevin Daniel and Fatima Dixon had a beautiful Wedding at Tirzah! The primary colors of the celebration were pink and white. 🌸

The Bride’s Brother had the honor of walking his sister down the aisle to the song, “The One He Kept For Me” by Maurette Brown Clark. The Couple’s two daughters were the Flower Girl and Ring Bearer.

The Couple included a Unity Sand Ceremony. Each grain of sand represents their individuality. With the blending of the sands, their lives are joined together, uniting the Bride and Groom as one. It is a powerful symbol of an everlasting union. Just as the grains of sand can no longer be separated so shall their marriage and their lives be forever intertwined.

The Bible Verse for the Ceremony was 1 Corinthians 13 … Love is patient, love is kind … Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends!

The Couple made a wonderful collection of magical memories which will be treasured for a lifetime. We wish this sweet Couple much love on their beautiful journey! ✨💖✨

Growing A Princess! 👑

Everton and Ronisha Sandy were honored with a beautiful Baby Shower at Tirzah to welcome a precious baby girl. The Baby’s name is a surprise! They will share her name once she is born. The Mom-To-Be was nine months pregnant on the date of her shower. 💕🐘

The shower was a baby elephant theme with pink, peach, sage, and grey colors. Pink floral garlands outlined the wooden arch for a pretty backdrop. 🌸 They served lasagna from the Olive Garden, and they had a MOM-osa Bar. 🥂

Game were played such as Don’t Say Baby, Baby Predictions and Advice, and
Reveal to Win. Baby Wishes was used as a guestbook where family and friends wrote sweet thoughts such as I hope you love …, I hope you learn …, I hope you become …, I hope you aren’t afraid of …, I hope you laugh …, I hope you get …, I hope you believe …, I hope you never …, I hope you always … The wishes were gathered to preserve for the baby to read and cherish as she grows older.

Party Favors were given to the guests that included Popcorn with a label that said, “Ready To Pop,” a small glass with an imprint for a remembrance of the special celebration, and a cute elephant key chain that read “It’s A Girl.”

Love Is In Bloom 💐

A beautiful Bridal Shower was held at Tirzah for Jasmine Hill, the future Mrs. Deal! The colors of the celebration were white, pink, and gold.

The theme of the shower was “Love Is In Bloom.” There were many pretty flowers to enjoy. Downstairs, white roses that symbolize love, loyalty, and new beginnings made gorgeous centerpieces. Upstairs, there were dozens of beautiful roses in different colors for the guests to design floral arrangements to take home. 🌹

Striking balloon backdrops made the special event unforgettable; the Bride opened her gifts
upstairs in front of one of the stunning displays, one was in the room with the roses and sweets, and another one was in the Courtyard with a giant gold-framed mirror that created a beautiful effect.

Refreshments included Chicken Ranch Casserole, sandwiches on crescent rolls, fresh vegetables, fruit, chocolate fountains, cake, cookies, and more. A cute cowboy bartender serving mimosas to all of the lovely ladies was definitely a highlight!! 🥂

Fun games were played such as the Toilet Paper Bride’s Dress, Would You Rather, He Said She Said, and Guess How Many Kisses for the Soon To Be Mrs.

Jay Bryant and Kenedee Pladies had a beautiful Rehearsal Dinner at Tirzah. The theme was tropical with colors of green, blue, and gold. I love the little details; the Mother of the Groom laser cut the pretty napkin rings.

A delicious meal was served by Mi Pueblo in Belton. Everyone ate, and then the Couple had their Rehearsal for their Wedding.

The picture of the Bride and Groom under the arch as they are surrounded by flowers and greenery while they are sitting at their Sweetheart table is a very romantic moment to cherish!

The Mother of the Groom gave me a very sweet thank you note which is a treasure that read … “Thank you for sharing your beautiful building with us as we prepare for Jay and Kenedee to start their life together! May God bless you and your family.”

Missing Man Table! ♥️

This Table, it is Small – set for one, symbolizing the vulnerability of one prisoner alone against his oppressors.

The Table is Round – to show our everlasting concern for our missing men.

The Table Cloth is White – symbolizing the purity of their intentions to respond to the nation’s call to arms.

The Place Setting – single, alone no friends or family to dine with.

The Chair is Empty – for they are not here.

The Glass is Inverted – they cannot toast with us this night.

The Single Red Rose – displayed in the vase reminds us of the life of each of the missing, and the loved ones, friends, and comrades of these Americans who keep the faith, awaiting answers.

The Red Ribbon – symbol of our determination to account for our missing.

A Slice of Lemon – reminding us of their bitter fate.

Salt Sprinkled – representing the countless fallen tears of families as they wait.

The Candle – reminiscent of everlasting hope which lives in our hearts to light the way home; from their captors to the open arms of a grateful nation.

The Bible – represents the strength gained through faith to sustain those lost from us, from our country, founded as one nation under God.

Let us pray to the Supreme Commandant that all our brothers will soon again be among our ranks.

Travis Blake West and Whitney Paige Bushing had a beautiful Wedding at Tirzah with their closest family and friends. I have known this sweet Bride most of her life, and she holds a special place in my heart. 💕

A sentimental touch at the Wedding was a beautiful display of Wedding pictures of the Bride and Groom’s grandparents and great-grandparents. “The roots of a Family Tree begin with the Love of Two Hearts.”

The primary color of the celebration was emerald green and burnt orange with terracotta flowers and pampas grass. Most everyone wore black to the Ceremony.

The Bride’s grandfather had the honor of walking her down the aisle to the song Pushing Up Daisies by Brothers Osborne. The Recessional was to Millionaire by Chris Stapleton.

Right after the Ceremony but before their guests gathered to give them their congratulations and well wishes, I just happened to witness the Bride and Groom do a secret handshake and hug with smiles on their faces.

The Groom’s father said the blessing before the delicious meal of fajitas was served. The Bride’s cake had different flavors for each of the layers such as vanilla-raspberry and strawberry-lemon. The cute Groom’s cake was chocolate and had small replicas of their two dogs peeking out from the cake.

The Couple’s First Dance was to I Don’t Dance by Lee Brice. Confetti Rose Petals were tossed for the new Mr. and Mrs. A grandmother sang a beautiful blessing in Spanish … “Precious love that God has given; you’re my gift from God.”🎶

The Bride and Groom are traveling to Ruidoso for their Honeymoon where they will ride horses and ATVs and stop at interesting places along the way.

As they continue on their journey of a lifetime, we wish this sweet couple much love, laughter, and happily ever after!! 💕
