This week we had two Costume Recitals. Our student performers perform in costume. This was the first ever dinosaur performer on a Costume Recital. The annual Costume Recitals are always a huge hit.
Today we participated in the Fall CRU Festival with music related games and activities. Of course we handed out candy as well. A great time was had by all.

We are offering a new early childhood music program!! Teeny Tykes & Tunes is a fun, interactive music activity class, designed for preschool age children (babies – 4 years) and their parent or caregiver. Using music educational tools and methods the program also integrates faith-based concepts and songs to encourage both musical and spiritual growth for preschoolers. Children will learn concepts such as Rhythm/Steady Beat, Pitch Matching, Listening Skills, and Music Memory, through singing, playing instruments, games, finger plays, bounces and sound-stories.

Temple ISD is offering $100 scholarships to their students to experience a summer camp. The Conservatory of Music is hosting an All State Choir Camp July 12-14 and an Art Workshop July 26-30. Late enrollment fees are being waved and there is still time to sign up online or call 254-295-4686.

The UMHB Department of Art & UMHB Conservatory of Music are partnering this summer to offer a High School Art Camp. Participating students will experience drawing, painting, ceramics, and Art History courses through-out the one week camp.
