My name is Allison and I just want to give a huge shout out to Love Our Hero’s in Bellville and especially Tami, her family, and all the volunteers. Every single one has been so very helpful and sweet and I have never had a bad experience anytime I’ve been there. Going to their thrift store has been the highlight of my week since the first time I found out about them, almost a year ago. Not only is their mission just amazing in general but it just as well hits home. My fiancé is in the military and so it touches my heart a little extra. I have such a passion in home decor, design, and being able to mix modern decor with timeless antiques and I have been able to decorate so many parts of our home just from Love Our Hero’s alone. I love the feeling I get knowing every item given to donation and any money spent buying goes towards Veterans. The store is beautiful and so much fun to find treasures. I feel like I’ve hit gold finding this thrift store. With the items I have bought I’ve been able to try my hand at a Flea Market booth, as well as selling online, and trying to accomplish my dream of one day opening a storefront. I am so thankful for this store and especially Tami for always being so helpful, starting this amazing nonprofit, and most importantly for all she has done for the community and veterans. She has helped so many people it’s truly amazing. I hope you guys enjoy the photos of my home and take note of all the beautiful items bought from Love our Hero’s.
