This grand opening was captured yesterday, on May 2nd at around 6pm. Waypoint park’s parking was absolutely packed. I hope everyone’s as excited as I am! Let’s grab some beer and soak some sun y’all 🤩

Some close-up shots of Chuckanut’s landslide. I got some footage to go through so I’ll try to post it sometimes tomorrow for more in depth look for everyone 🙏

On Tuesday, April 22, a massive rockslide forced the closure of Chuckanut Drive, between Chuckanut Manor and the Oyster Dome trailhead. Seeing how massive this landslide is, I reckon the road will be closed for weeks, if not months.

The Old City Hall building was originally built in 1892 for the former town of New Whatcom. The original building was designed in a Late Victorian style by Alfred Lee, a local architect, who used red brick and Chuckanut sandstone for its construction.
