It is a joy to provide celebratory and decorative body art to Northwest Washington honoring the ancient traditions while incorporating a modern twist. The art of mehndi is a beautiful way to celebrate transition, set intentions and decorate the body. Henna is a natural and safe body art. It is applied to the skin and after paste removal a stain is left for 1-3 weeks. I hand mix my paste in small batches, using organic ingredients. My paste is always PPD free and never black.
