AUCTION ALERT! Bidding starts today and closes 11/18/20 at 10am PST. Inspired by a style of Damascus that has been around for some time and we decided to take a new approach. “Feather” Damascus is made by hot cutting a large billet of laminate steel which draws the layers down through the billet. The two half are then rewelded together and the result looks like the pattern in a feather. We used this technique to create the steel and then profiled a “feather” to insert into some shop-made micro melt steel that we affectionately call “Bobahagane”.
