I hope it warms up soon because we’ve almost burned through 1 cord of wood and I really don’t want to carry another cord up the stairs 🤣 I’m ready for you Spring!!

The ridge is caused by the hair along the spine of the back growing in the opposite direction to the rest of the coat. It’s what makes ridgebacks so distinguishable from other breeds that look similar to ridgebacks, like or .

I remember sitting on our back deck when we first bought the house, listening to the hum of water coming from somewhere off in the distance. I thought it was probably just a quaint creek.

We decided to explore our backyard with the kids later that summer and OH MYYYY. I couldn’t believe the “creek” was actually a series of waterfalls, a maze of fairy pools and fallen logs.

It still blows my mind that this exists just a short 5min walk from our back deck and we had NO IDEA when we bought the house. I thank our lucky stars every day for this magical ✨
