Montana's history comes alive through the stories and songs passed down across generations.

Join musician and storyteller Philip Page on Friday, June 26, from 7 to 8 p.m. for an evening of cowboy music and authentic storytelling exploring the people, events, and landscapes that helped shape the Montana Territory and the American West.

Through music, stories, and reflections, Philip will share tales of settlers, livestock, gold strikes, and influential figures such as Charlie Russell and L.A. Huffman. Along the way, he will explore how music can connect us to history, memory, emotion, and a deeper appreciation for the places we call home.

This free program is sponsored by Humanities Montana and presented by Belgrade Community Library as part of America 250: Songs of Stories and Home, a series celebrating Montana’s voices, traditions, and stories during America’s 250th year.
