Idaho - The Fire outside of has seen some growth today.
The fire is at 178 acres with additional resources on order.
A Type 3 Team will assume command of the tomorrow. Several aviation assets were assigned, including 2 Bridger Aerospace Scoopers!

The has grown to 533 acres with in place & 0% contained. Incident Management Team 1 assumed command of the fire. According to structures have been lost.
Priorities today: Public & FF safety, structure protection, protect critical infrastructure & natural resource values at risk.

Montana sends more help!
DNRC is supporting Canada's by sending a Type 2 IA crew of 22 firefighters which left Tuesday to Alberta, .
For many of these young it will be their 1st international assignment. Today they were assigned to a fire being managed by an Australian Incident Management Team!
DNRC Crew Boss AJ Angelo said “The Aussies are super friendly & great to work with.”

Minnesota - The Spice Lake Fire is transitioning back to the local forest.
Quick initial attack coupled with aviation resources coordinated by a type III team kept this fire small and manageable.

Arizona - The has forced the closure of Hwy 87 near Fort McDowell.
The fire experienced significant growth & by 8PM Sunday the U.S. Forest Service-Tonto National Forest estimated the fire to be 1,300 acres. Additional FFs, Hotshot crews, & aviation resources are working to contain the fire with no structures threatened!
