From seed to cabbage to kraut 🌱🥬💚🌸

It’s year one with my own garden and I did a lot of things wrong. This sauerkraut tastes extra delicious because back in the spring the cabbage seeds were nearly the only ones to make it to outdoor planting. So rewarding to have nourished them all the way through to this point when they can return the favor. Now onto pickling the million cucumbers this rainy summer has produced!!

Feeling grateful to the team and students from the Emmanuel Business Collaborative for all their hard work on Food Fluency as a live case study! Accounting students at spent the semester researching relevant grants, business structures, and pricing model options for our path forward. This has been crucial as a that doesn’t come from the business world.

These photos are from my visit this week to watch their final presentations and recommendations. Lots of inspiration to sprout from!!
