We have been very busy doing a total make over on an aquaponics system in Sherwood. Today the fish got added to the tank. If you would like to set up a system at your place give my husband Ron a call-he would love to help you!

This week I have been processing fresh herbs. I have made a tincture of both Stevia and Echinacia. Stevia is a 0 calorie sweetner that is good for your blood sugar, blood pressure and your heart. Echinacia boosts your immune system and will shorten the duration of a cold or the flu. We are also harvesting tomatoes, squash and jalepeno peppers and bell peppers. Later today I will process some fresh Spearmint and Rosemary. Fresh herbs taste so much better. I made my first fried green tomatoes-went outside and picked them and cooked them and I must say they were awesome!!!

There are so many options when you like aquaponics. My husband started out with one greenhouse growing strawberries and now we have 3 greenhouses and outdoor beds . If you need advice or would like something custom built call my husband Ron-he loves building these and making plans for additions!
