It's different for everybody and the beats change sometimes everyday, especially for people with chronic illnesses. It's important we listen to our beat, our heart while not worrying about others. Wild Orchid Salon has an immediate opportunity for a Salon Coordinator. Wild Orchid has grown to 3 locations in Austin since starting our business in 2011.

We are continually striving to build a culture of continuous education, quality work and celebrating each artist's individuality and unique perspective. Our team is damn serious about our work, but we always find time for some fun! We want a team that is absolutely focused on their craft yet enjoy an interactive and lighthearted vibe.

As a Salon Coordinator, your primary role is to keep the salon organized and operating smoothly in addition to greeting our clients and answering any questions they might have. Our clients always come first and it is important that we provide them the cleanest environment possible for their Wild Orchid experience.

Benefits include a 40% discount on retail hair and skin care products as well as hair services for a product cost only!!! We also provide a 401K with company match to employees after 1 year!

Below you will find a list of the minimum expected duties of the Salon Coordinator:

1.) Keep the client reception and front desk clean, organized and stocked throughout the day
2.) Administer Reception duties carefully and without negligence
3.) Replenish stock, which has been used in treatments or sold to customers, as needed throughout your shift
4.) Assist stylists with laundry needs of the salon throughout your shift as needed and ensure towel and linen supplies are maintained at a level needed for the operation of the salon+spa
5.) Answer the telephone and email requests and register appointments in the salon software system
6.) Attend to general filing and administration
7.) Check In/Check Out Clients
8.) Social Media updates

9.) Experience with Booker Software is a plus but not required.
Additional growth opportunities in marketing, inventory management and event planning are available to candidates which show the ability for more responsibility.
