Trash Chronicles Day 5:
Pick up a PlASTic water bottle right when I stepped out of the car to go to the airport this am at ATX. The recycling can was right across from the bottle. Was someoneβ¦
A. being lazy and throwing a plastic bottle into the street
B. The bottle fell out of the recycling bin
C. The bottle fell out of the car/bag/other vessel
Why drink out of single use water bottles any way?! They are SO wasteful and cause SO MUCH POLLUTION outside and in (you are drinking plastic leaked water when you buy plastic bottled water π³π

Arrive in ATL. Walking down the street. Noticing disparities between neighborhood that look a wealthier vs lower income.
Reading the book βTotal Garbageβ right now about how poorer neighborhoods have more packaging waste, cheaper food sources = more waste and less resources to recycling vs richer neighborhoods.
We all need to work together to keep our communities clean and help each other out.
Conserve and buy vintage or second hand when you can to avoid clothing waste.
NeVeR throw trash in the garbage/landfills. Send to Trashie, Ridwell or Goodwill will try to re-source scrapes!
Trash chronicles Day 4: returning Amazon item at Whole Foods and noticing Amazon bags getting thrown into the trash?!
They have a sign on the trash no food or drink so maybe they recycle the bags but they could probably just reuse all those packaging bags!
I wish Amazon would stop using plastic packaging or at least reuse it!

Trashy Chronicles Day 2
Mondayβs trashy view: walking in Cedar Park along Milburn Park.
Iβm wondering if you are like many others eating junk food from these small plastic bags or drinking from these plastic water bottles, do you realize how much waste these plastics produce? This not only produces waste in our outside environment BUT also our inside environment.
Letβs all be less trashy by taking care of ourself and our environment.
REFUSE single use plastic waste bottles and packaging (chips, candy).
CHOOSE to drink water in NON-Plastic reusable bottles!
CHOOSE real food not wrapped in plastic ππ½π’β€οΈπ
Trashy Chronicles Day 1
Sadden by seeing all this trash while walking to lunch 1 block down Chalmers to Caesar Chavez.
We can be less trashy by REFUSING to buy drinks and other plastic wrapped goods, REDUCE waste we throw away ππ½π₯Ίπ©
My recent visit to the green sand on Hawaiiβs Big Island. As I was walking along, I noticed it was filled with small particles of PLASTICS.
This has reaffirmed my mission in reducing my plastic waste along with teaching others.
Letβs be LESS TRASHY together!
REFUSE PLASTICS
CHOOSE non-plastic items
ENCOURAGE others like your favorite retailer to shift away from plastic and styrofoam.
