Crocodiles:

Reminder that schools will be closed on Monday, May 25, in observance of the Memorial Day holiday. This is a day to honor the brave men and women who served in the Armed Forces and are no longer with us.

Enjoy the long weekend, and we look forward to seeing everyone back at school on Tuesday, May 26!

Last night the NRCO hosted our Annual Art Show and Auction—an evening filled with creativity, talent, and community! Families had the opportunity to view the incredible artwork students created during Art Literacy, a program fully run by dedicated volunteers that highlights six different artists and their mediums throughout the school year.

Students also took the stage to showcase their talents, whether through singing, dancing, or playing an instrument. In addition, families participated in our auction, raising funds that go directly back to support Nancy Ryles Elementary.

Thank you to all of the volunteers and staff for your time and effort in making this night such a success! A special thank you to Lisa Dirda for coordinating the auction items, and to our Art Lit Coordinators, Lacey Saleman and Cory Wuehler, for their behind-the-scenes work in beautifully displaying the student artwork.

Today, our 4th grade classes attended a field trip to the McLoughlin House in Oregon City. Students explored Oregon’s history from the mid-1800s through the early 1900s and learned about John McLoughlin, along with other families who helped shape our state's history.
Thank you to the NRCO for your generous donation in making this memorable field trip possible! 😊
