The most underrated tool in your pool kit might be the one leaning against your fence. 💧

Your pool brush helps break up biofilm, lift settled debris, and loosen algae before it becomes established. It also reaches spots automatic cleaners can miss, including corners, behind ladders, and around steps.

Make brushing part of your weekly pool care routine, adjusting the frequency for your pool’s conditions. Give attention to the walls, floor, waterline, and hard-to-reach areas. Use long, overlapping strokes, working from shallow to deep.

Choose a brush suited to your pool’s finish. Nylon bristles are appropriate for vinyl and fiberglass. Never use stainless steel on either, and check your finish manufacturer’s guidance before using it on plaster.
