Just a friendly reminder that California's new law goes into effect this week effectively removing owner/operators from the roads. Meaning truckers that contract with companies to move freight will no longer be doing that. You better have your pantries stocked cause a lot of food is moved out of California. Containers from ships will no longer be reaching distribution centers in a timely manner because these contracts will no longer be available to move freight by independent owners. Even large companies that have full time drivers with company trucks DO NOT HAVE ENOUGH TRUCKS. Hence the contracting. The railroad has decreased the amount of cars and won't be able to cover the shortage of trucks which will be 70,000 plus trucks.
DEF for trucks is so low they're saying we have 7 weeks supply till its gone meaning those trucks will be shut down. Not only that but fall harvest isnt till well fall and many combines and such also need DEF. You can barely find engine oil for trucks as it's supply is nearly gone. Buckle up buttercup things are about to get worse in the coming weeks.
