If you wear extensions, be mindful of the sunscreen you’re using—avoid products with avobenzone. This common ingredient can cause discoloration, often turning extensions (especially blondes) an unwanted peach or brassy tone.

Instead, choose a mineral-based sunscreen with zinc oxide or titanium dioxide, which is much safer for both your skin and your hair.

A small switch in your routine can help protect your color and keep your extensions looking fresh all summer long.
