We get this question a lot. Can I change the radio in my tech package TSX? Yes you can. It requires our ELS Amplifier Interface (volume k**b). You also have to swap the top display and reroute the backup camera. It is all plug and play and you can install almost any double din. This is the best way for sound quality. If you have a 2009 to 2014 Acura TL and you want to upgrade the factory backup camera this is the harness to do so. This is a t-harness that allows you to easily install another camera in place of the factory one.

Your Acura with the premium or ELS sound system has a factory amplifier. When you remove the factory amplifier from the system you end up with no volume control. This means that if you want to install another amplifier instead of the factory one you have to capture the output of the factory amplifier and convert it to a low level signal so your new amplifier can use it.

You should also correct the signal coming out of the amplifier and sum the necessary channels back together. In order to sum and correct the signal you will need a DSP. That is where the solution in this image comes in. The t-harness and PBX-DSP8 provide the perfect integration solution for your aftermarket amplifiers into the factory system.

In short if you want to add aftermarket amplifiers this will give you the RCA outputs you need and a remote turn on. You can then load the proper configuration file from our website and you are set to go.
