Santa on the Bay was out and about in Bay Saint Louis today, checking up on how everybody is handling these stressful times. He was driving his sleigh around the Bay, and was happy to see so many folks (young and old) that we’re doing their best to stay on the “Nice List.” Keep your eyes peeled in the coming days, and you might just catch sight of Santa on the Bay spreading a bit of Christmas cheer!

Wow...l what a busy day for Santa on the Bay!!! Two private parties (one in Bay Saint Louis, MS & one in Covington, MS) followed by ‘Elfies with Santa at the Mockingbird Cafe back in the Bay. I am one tired Santa! One more out of town gig in Slidell, LA tomorrow afternoon, and then the rest is local. Now...time for some beauty rest!

Ain’t it the truth!
Went to place my order at Panera Bread yesterday & gave my name as “Santa.” The cashier told me that they could only take real names. Apparently she does not believe in Santa (LOL!). She was nice, however, so I did not put her on the naughty list!

Here it is hot as blue blazes and almost July, but believe it or not, it’s time to think about scheduling Santa on the Bay for the 2018 Christmas Season! My calendar has lots of open dates, but it is starting to fill in. Santa is available for photography sessions, home visits, corporate events, fund raisers, church visits, etc ..., and the historical Saint Nicholas is also available for church functions! Santa is Famous!!!! Seriously, we have a great benefit coming up for Toys for Tots at the Beacon Theatre in Waveland, MS at 10AM on Saturday, Dec. 9th. There will be a Matinee showing of Disney/Pixar's "Coco" for the kids, and "Easy Rider" for the adults. Admission is one new unwrapped toy or a donation of $10 per person. Santa will be available for visits and selfies, so bring your phone/camera!

And so another Christmas Season draws to a close - Santa needs to rest!
Had my last gig as Santa tonight (a home visit), concluding my first year wearing the "Big Red Suit!" I must say that deciding to be Santa was one of the best decisions I have made in a long time. Having a small part in spreading the a Spirit of Christmas and bringing joy into a divided, often angry world has blessed me immensely. Looking forward to next year!
Santa had a wonderful visit at Brenda's House (an Emergency children's shelter) in Bay Saint Louis tonight. What a great staff and a wonderful bunch of kids!
