Wonderful folks from Arkansas met me at Cedar Point at 6 am for an early morning Solar Boat Tour of Old Joe's Bayou with a run across the Jourdan River around the Cedar Point island on our SolarSkiffs. I love the cloud reflections on calm water creating the perception of gliding over clouds.

The highlight of the day was going top speed (5 mph) with there being no wind, the water was reflecting the sky and clouds so well, it felt like I was cloud-surfing, sky-walking, sky-surfing, or something like that. 3 snowy egrets allowed us to join their tour!

The Bayou Bogue Homa was 10-20 degrees cooler than the land air temperature when we got an early start...6am to 7 am best! Our 2 to 2-1/2 hour tour costs $90 for a 2 person boat with me showing the way from my guide boat.

Went out yesterday on the Bayou Bogue Homa with New Orleans' WGNO News With A Twist Reporter Stephanie Oswald and cameraman Derrick...had a great time and our 3 hour tour will be edited down to 2 minutes and maybe 20 seconds by the time it airs during the week of July 23rd. Will keep you posted.

Christmas on the Water with the Mississippi Gulf Coast Attractions Association: departed Gulfport Harbor on the Capt. Pete on Saturday, went over to Biloxi's Small Craft Harbor for the display of boats big and small all lit up for the holidays...amazing what you can do with LEDs these days!
