We're headed to New Orleans today for the at the 🎶 Coast friends don't worry, our Bay St. Louis shop is open today for 🌎

Old Town Bay St. Louis invites you to come celebrate the season at our Christmas parade on Dec 9th at 6pm. The parade will begin at the Bay St. Louis Municipal Harbor and will end with Santa lighting the city Christmas tree in front of the Hancock County Courthouse. Music provided by DJ Doug with Good Earth Records at the Court House following the parade. We invite you to come one, come all to celebrate the season in Old Town Bay St. Louis!

At , we are big into preservation of local Gulf Coast music history 🌎🎶 We found this extremely rare local 45 the other day from Henry Jay & the Starfires titled My Lynda & Shoestring's. Come to find out, these guys were the premier rock and roll band on the Gulf Coast in the early 60s. Their only record was recorded in 1963 at AM radio station WRJW in Picayune and apparently they made less than 500. Lead singer and guitar player, Jay Heitzmann, said that the Starfires were the first white act to perform in Bay St. Louis's legendary 100 Men Hall around 1964. At 78 years young, Jay still lives in Bay St. Louis and performs regularly in the area 🎶 Back in the day, the Starfires often played at the the old A & G Theater at 150 North Beach Blvd next towhat is now the 200 North Beach restaurant. The A & G building was restored after Katrina and hopefully will soon be back open to entertain folks in Bay St. Louis for generations to come! We love ya, !

Well, New Orleans, it been a wonderful two years here at 🎶 we've got some BIG NEWS for ya - we're going to be moving just an hour away to the Gulf Coast in beautiful Old Town Bay St. Louis, Mississippi 🌎 our last day at our current location (739 Octavia St.) will be next Saturday, the 15th! We will be doing 10% off all used records & we will have lots of free and dollar records out💲pass by for a record, a t-shirt, or just to wish us well.. we love you, New Orleans! ⚜️

Stay tuned for future pop-ups in the Crescent City🌛but for now we're gonna be focused on the new location in the Bay at 212 Main St. in Historic Old Town. We should be fully open at the end of the month, with a lil hang happening this Saturday the 8th for Cruisin The Coast. If you're around, pass by to hear some classic vinyl records being spun on our back porch all day and into the night. It's the second Saturday art walk and combined so it should be one helluva time!
