: Baton Rouge FedEx worker after damaging packages 📦🤔

Crescendo AAV's owner Jeremi Rasti tells Louisiana First News his security cameras captured a FedEx driver aggressively throwing expensive packages on the ground last Friday. They were damaged in the process.

"The behavior depicted in this video is completely unacceptable and does not reflect the high standards of service we expect from our service providers," FedEx spokesperson Shannon Davis said in a statement. "We are taking this matter very seriously and can confirm this individual is no longer providing service on behalf of FedEx. We are also working directly with the affected customer to resolve the issue.” ⤵️

Scott Pelley fired from ‘60 Minutes’ after confrontation with new boss 06/03/2026

This is a very sad day for American journalism.

Scott Pelley embodies everything right about our industry. He is a truth teller to his core, and viewers can depend on him to hold the powerful accountable. He’s proven it over decades of service at 60 Minutes.

Pelley’s final day on the job will be remembered for one final act of courage: calling out the powers that be for disrupting journalists’ independence and firing reporters who refused to go along.

This sends a bleak message to thousands of journalists who work for corporations that have supported this industry since before most of us were born. With modern threats to truth telling coming from the political arena and artificial intelligence, Pelley’s firing comes at an inflection point for the fourth estate.

My hope is that we turn the ship around while we still can.

Extremely honored to be named the new Assistant News Director at Louisiana First News! 🥳👍

Can’t wait to serve our anchors and reporters every day to assist in their lives and careers. We have an AWESOME group, and our community already sees that passion for great journalism!

Also thrilled to stay in the anchor chair for our early shows and continue leading the investigative team.

This wouldn’t be possible without guidance and support from SO many people throughout my career. Very thankful for every station and teammate I’ve worked with. Appreciate John Walton & Tim Ingram for this dream job!

Now that the announcement’s out of the way—LET’S GET TO WORK! 💪
