Katie Swetman is an artist with many canvases. Her work in graphic design has been honored many times during her 14 year long career.
After earning a degree in Graphic Design from Louisiana State University, she joined the Corporate Communications team at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Louisiana. During her tenure there, she created a variety of advertising and marketing campaigns including Angel Awards and Our Home, Louisiana, which earned several local, regional and national awards. Our Story
Katie’s foundation in design makes her a natural problem solver. Striving to create a sound rationale with every creative decision, she steers the creative ensuring it is always rooted in strategy and aligns with the client’s business goals. Through her years as Art Director and Creative Director, she has overseen and implemented integrated advertising campaigns, TV production, copywriting, brand transformations, as well as digital and social marketing. Katie’s in-house experience producing and managing creative for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of LA and Raising Cane’s through their years of exponential brand growth gives her a unique insight into the heart of a brand and a client’s day-to-day challenges that often get overlooked by other agencies. Katie has had the pleasure of working with awesome brands such as COKE, Powerade, Drew Brees, Walk-On's, Raising Canes, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana, Cox Communications, United Way, Volunteer Louisiana and many more.
Katie has a bunch-o-cats, a band named Palomino Darling and a sweet ol’ fiancée named Sam.
