So here are the curls. 100% natural at this point. Here’s hoping I like it because I have no clue what my natural hair looks like when it’s long. I just remember HUGE PUFFY ponytails when I was a kid.

My 8 year old has developed a random passion for French pastry so we made macarons last night. It was a first attempt for me and I'm pleasantly pleased.
I've never had one so I have nothing to compare it to but now I want to make more.

Frozen "molten"cake.
- Today is the hubby's Birthday and he requested "cake like a molten but frozen like an ice cream cake topped with caramel and chocolate" 🙄
He always makes me do stuff for his birthday that I've never done before. So there you have it folks.

Just added ANOTHER mermaid to my daughter's collection. She's named it Ryleigh, after herself. It's what she asks for when gifts are involved. I made it a POINT to make this one look like her because some of her recent comments have been showing signs of a lack of confidence. So what's a mom to do... SHOW her her beauty by making her into a mermaid.
In future, I won't use that same yarn for hair but it is working now.
