ATTEMPTING TO IDENTIFY

The Baton Rouge Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual pictured in the attached photograph.

Detectives believe that during the latter part of 2025, this individual assaulted a female victim in the 300 block of North Boulevard.

The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries as a result of the incident.

After further investigation, the victim has been identified as forty year old (40) Tola O. Falana.

Death Investigation

On May 22, 2026 at about 6:00am, our uniform patrol officers were dispatched to the 500 Block of Oaks Ave regarding a complaint of a deceased person. Detectives are investigating Falana's death. Limited information is available pending further investigation. Anyone with information related to this incident is encouraged to contact the department at 225-343-5525.
