We honor their place in and contributions to the shared story of America, and we recognize that there is still so much work to do to lift up our Native American communities.

β¨Bakari Garveyβ¨
βAs a man that has participated in the event before in the past. To walk an actual mile in you all shoes was very painful at the halfway point I truly wanted to quit. However, I thought about all the women, that have been the victim of abuse both physically and mentally, which compelled me to keep walking. My blisters were nothing in comparison to the atrocity acts that survivors go through. I could never fathom my pain for theirs. I salute you all and now have a better appreciation when I see you all in heels. πβ
