Only when I saw "Congratulations McKinley Class of 2026" blasted across the screen at Living Faith this morning did I fully realize it's been 20 years.

Smh. Alright, time, you win. I give. Uncle. Just stop, man.

Better late than never, I suppose.

Thank you to all of our partners for really doing all of the heavy lifting in pulling this off Tuesday and for your patience. In spite of me, the voters still get a chance to hear a quality debate between Democratic candidates speaking about Democratic issues.

The stupidity of filing a lawsuit about this is hard to quantify.

In so doing, he has now opened himself up to a discovery process that almost certainly will dig even deeper - and more officially - into his behavior and performance.

This, my friends, is what desperate men do when they simply don't know what to do with their hands.

FBI Director Kash Patel sued The Atlantic for $250 million Monday after the magazine published explosive reporting detailing the director was fearful of losing his job and struggled to be reached after nights of excessive drinking.

I just want to say... I reached out to each and every newsroom in Acadiana prior to yesterday's candidate forum in Lafayette. Not a single member of the Acadiana press was in attendance yesterday. There is an election in less than one month. The press in Louisiana are making business decisions ahead of the May 16th primary that are indirectly suppressing the vote. They are deciding that since they don't think Democrats have a chance in November, there's no point in covering them in May.

I'll be blunt: I don't care what your assessment of the race is. Cover both sides because voters deserve to know what's on their ballot and you know that you are a primary source of that information locally. When you don't cover a race or a candidate, voters don't know they exist. You know it, voters know it, and if you know better, you're supposed to do better.

Do better, free press. While we still have that right. Do your civic duty.
