Happy Adult Education and Family Literacy Month!
These spotlights are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to our amazing students and the phenomenal team behind our Adult Education program 💙
This week, in celebration of Adult Education and Family Literacy Month 📚, we’re highlighting the importance of adult education in our community through the voices and experiences of those who have been directly impacted by the program.
We are so proud of our students, grateful for their stories, and thankful for the incredible Adult Education staff who help make this impact possible ✏️
Out of office and on the course ⛳️
We’re officially 18 days out from the 2nd Annual Empower 225 Cup on September 28, and we couldn’t be more excited to hit the green again!
More than just a day of golf, it’s a day filled with purpose, impact, friendly competition, and new memories, all while creating greater opportunities for the youth and families we serve 💙

Last week, we pressed pause on the important work we do and took some much-needed time to have fun, recharge, and connect as a team!
From custom candle making to good food, laughs, and making memories together, it was the perfect day to reset and enjoy one another 🕯️🍕✨
Grateful for our team and the opportunity to do this work together!
A great night of fellowship, connection, and community!
This week, we gathered with new and returning volunteers for our Volunteer Huddle! We connected, explored the different ways they can use their gifts and talents to serve, and talked about the difference we want to make in our community.
One of our favorite moments was having each volunteer share one word that represents the impact they hope to make. Their words were a beautiful reminder of the heart behind why we serve 🙌
We’re so grateful for every person who continues to show up, serve, and help make what we do possible. Together, we’re making a difference!

This past Thursday, we celebrated a new group of graduates from Empower 225’s NCCER Program 🎓🦺🏗️
These graduates put in the work, built their skills, and took another step toward a future full of opportunity. We’re proud to see them equipped with the knowledge, confidence, and hands-on skills to take their next steps in the workforce and beyond 💙
A special thank you to all of our incredible partners for investing in our graduates and helping create opportunities for their future. And thank you to Cajun Industries, Excel, and Repcon for coming out on graduation day to host a job fair and connect our graduates with career opportunities 🤝
