Whenever massive conflicts of interest appear, Julia Letlow’s excuse is always the same: "I didn't know anything about it, it was all handled by a third party!"

We saw it when she failed to report over 200 individual stock trades on time, violating the federal STOCK Act while trading shares in industries right after her committees held hearings on them. Her excuse? She had "no knowledge" and blamed her broker.

We saw it when it was exposed she signed a secret Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) with Meta regarding a massive $10 billion data center in Richland Parish, and then magically, her portfolio started buying up Meta and Nvidia stock. Again, her office claimed she had absolutely "no role" and no idea it was happening.

And right on cue, a massive new federal campaign finance complaint has exposed the exact same pattern in our backyard.

The Setup: MMR Constructors, Inc.—a corporate contractor based right here in Baton Rouge—secured a lucrative federal contract with NASA.

The Action: While pocketing your hard-earned taxpayer dollars, they turned right around and funneled a massive $100,000 corporate contribution to Hope in Action PAC.

The Target? Julia Letlow's campaign for the U.S. Senate. Federal law strictly PROHIBITS corporate federal contractors from buying political influence. Why? Because there is every reason to believe it WILL buy influence with her.

Hope in Action PAC is the same group that funneled over $2.8 MILLION of this special-interest cash into a shadow PAC called the Accountability Project. They used those millions to run a brutal defamation campaign against John Fleming—flooding your phones with dishonest text blasts, personal smears, and even fake, AI-generated attack ads to viciously lie about Fleming, while Letlow did nothing to stop it.

Whether it's shady stock trades, secret corporate NDAs, or illegal contractor cash fueling nasty shadow-PAC smear campaigns, the excuse is always the same. Letlow plays the victim, denies involvement, and expects Louisiana voters to look the other way.

THIS is what Louisiana voters are sick and tired of. It is precisely this sort of brazen corruption that has driven our state into the ground.

Our representatives are supposed to answer to the Constitution and the voters—not hide behind third-party deniability while taking cash from the highest corporate bidder.

It’s time to stop the special interest gravy train. Louisiana citizens deserve transparency, accountability, and a government that can’t be bought.

A massive win for liberty just came out of a federal courtroom, and it sends a clear message to weaponized regulatory boards everywhere.

Federal Judge Lance Walker officially cleared the way for Dr. Meryl Nass’s First Amendment retaliation lawsuit to proceed against the Maine Medical Board (MMB). Why? Because the board tried to force her into a psychological evaluation and suspended her medical license with zero evidence or due process—simply because she publicly criticized government COVID-19 narratives.

Nass, a 2 time guest on The State of Freedom, is an MIT-educated internal medicine physician who has frequently been cited as an expert by major publications like The New York Times and The Washington Post for her specialized knowledge in bioterrorism and germ warfare. Over her career, she has formally testified before several U.S. Congressional committees, presenting research on Gulf War Syndrome, vaccine safety data, and the specific biological efficacy of the military's anthrax vaccine program

Judge Walker rightly noted that the action by the Maine Medical Board lacked the vital safeguards needed to protect citizens from "agency overreach."

In other words, they acted like thugs and tyrants because they didn’t like what she said.

The State of Freedom was privileged to have Dr. Nass on the show to discuss these issues, and seeing her vindication is incredibly powerful.

For too long, unelected regulatory boards have operated as if professional licenses give them the right to strip away your constitutional liberties. Judge Walker’s ruling sends the strong message that regulatory boards do not exist to act as a Ministry of Truth to crush constitutionally protected speech.

We will be watching this case closely as it heads to the next phase. The line in the sand has been drawn: Free speech wins, overreaching bureaucrats lose.

Our state has everything massive multi-billion-dollar corporations want: our land, our energy grid, our oil and gas infrastructure, deepwater access, and our unmatched natural resources. The entire interior economy of mainland USA depends on Louisiana as the export gateway. We are the envy of the world.

Yet, our leaders negotiate like they are running a front yard clearance sale. Rather than negotiating from a position of strength, they are forcing Louisiana citizens into a raw deal. It is a tragic betrayal of the first order.

❌ Private Property Under Threat: Corporations are being handed the power to seize private property through eminent domain for taxpayer-subsidized CCS pipelines and permanent industrial waste storage.

❌ Legal Rights Stripped Away: New laws severely limit your right to seek legal compensation against CCS and aerospace companies (like SpaceX) for damages to your body or property.

❌ Tax Breaks with Zero Accountability: Massive, 30-year state and local tax exemptions are being handed out to corporate giants. These are tax dollars that should fund local infrastructure. Worse? There are zero requirements for them to hire Louisiana workers, and zero protections to stop them from passing their massive energy costs onto your monthly electricity bill.

❌ Backroom Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs): Elected officials are signing secret NDAs with corporations, hiding the truth about actual job creation, water usage, energy demands, and environmental impacts from the public.

This isn't free enterprise—this is crony capitalism at its finest. Politicians elected by the people are executing secret agreements, granting huge custom tax exemptions, and providing legal immunity shields for corporate negligence. All of this happens at the direct expense of your property rights, your local tax base, your health, your environment, and your wallet.

Way too many of our leaders have become brazen lobbyists for corporate greed, and with each passing day Louisiana citizens are figuring out the astonishing level of betrayal occurring. One can hope we will be seeing many different faces in public office soon.
