40s returning to South Louisiana?!
A cool front moves through tonight, bringing widespread rain into early tomorrow morning. Behind it, a northerly breeze ushers in much cooler air through the day on Sunday.
This makes for temperatures possibly dropping into the upper 40s overnight, especially along and north of the interstates into Monday morning.

π¦οΈ A big rainfall divide is setting up this week
High pressure keeps much of the Southeast and East Coast dry, while a more active, stormy pattern sets up for the Midwest and Plains.
That means several days of severe weather will be possible in those areas.
π Meanwhile here at home: we stay dry and warm.
