Hey!

Did you get a chance to follow my loc detox process a few weeks ago?

No problem, you can check it out in my highlights (Loc Detox).

Products used:

• Portable inflatable shampoo basin from

For solution:

• Warm water
• 1/4 cup baking soda
• 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
• 1 lemon, squeezed
• 1 orange, squeezed

I soaked my hair in the solution for 20 minutes and repeated the process three times.

*I do not recommend massaging your scalp with lemon/orange halves. It’s hard to get pulp out of your hair 🥴

You can see how the water progressively got clearer with each session.

After detoxing my hair three times, I shampooed and conditioned with

I used ‘s Rose water infused with rose oil to moisturize my hard and their oil, in mint, to seal moisture.

Overall, The results were great. My hair is softer and is still softening with the help of ‘s awesome products.

Remember your Why!

Often times, we will start a thing but it slowly fades away from our routine. Whether it be eating better, working out, journaling; somehow it no longer is apart of our life.

Lately, I’ve found that “remembering my why” helps a lot. I have a sticky note with that quote posted in a few different places to remind me not to think about the process or how hard it may be, but to remember why I started in the first place.
