Today we had the privilege of packing 100 joyful totes for local cancer patients with LEMOINE Construction at their office in Lafayette, and with their help, we delivered these totes to Oschner Lafayette General!

With todayโ€™s delivery, we have delivered 2,550 totes to local hospitals, since becoming a nonprofit in 2020!

This pack was sponsored by Lemoine, and they jumped right in and helped us get the pack done and get the totes delivered! THANK YOU! ๐Ÿ’›

We also pray for the patients who will receive these totes and for their medical teams. May these patients feel extra loved!

What a blessing it is for us to be able to partner with LEMOINE and so many people in our community who are willing to help us spread joy to local cancer patients, one tote at a time! LEMOINE

These totes also contained handmade cards from students at and cards made by many descendants of Lois Domingue, who was a nurse at Lafayette General many years ago! Our Lady of Fatima Catholic School - Lafayette, La

Special thanks to our amazing friend, Julia , for volunteering today, and to Jeanie for helping with the handmade cards!

๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’› Pack day and Delivery day! ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’›

Today the talented ladies of the STM Sparklers joyfully packed up 100 totes for adult cancer patients in Lafayette. These totes included something special - beautiful handwritten cards created by the students of Cathedral Carmel!

Once we packed the totes we went across the street to Our Lady of Lourdes Health for our delivery, but first we prayed for the patients who will receive the totes, hoping they feel extra love and joy - and we prayed that these totes help give the patients the extra encouragement they may need to push through this tough time!

Special thanks to coach Jenny Harris Matthews, the students at Cathedral Carmel Cathedral-Carmel School for making hand made cards for the totes as coordinated by Kelly Yarbrough Schoeffler, and the STM Sparklers STM Sparklers

Today the talented young ladies of the Episcopal High School soccer team joyfully packed up 100 totes of joy for adult cancer patients in Baton Rouge. These totes included something special - beautiful handwritten cards created by the students of both St. James Episcopal Day School and cancer survivor Stacey Smithโ€™s first grade class from EHS!

Stacey reached out to us in May of this year because she received a tote from us while battling her own cancer diagnosis. And in an incredible full circle moment, today Stacey attended the pack at EHS and helped pay it forward by packing totes for cancer patients in our community. Incredible! Thank you, Stacey, for coming to the pack today, and thank you to your students for making such precious cards for the patients!

Once we packed up the totes, Father Patrick lead us in a beautiful prayer. We prayed for the patients who will receive the totes, hoping they feel extra love and joy - and we prayed that these totes help give the patients the extra encouragement they may need to push through this tough time!

Tomorrow we will deliver these totes to Baton Rouge General and Mary Bird Perkins in BR.

Special thanks to Coach Lynn, Coach Caleb, Amy Teague, Stacey Smith, the students at St. James Episcopal Day School, Mrs. Smithโ€™s EHS first graders, and the EHS girls soccer team!
