This is the feeling 🤍 I text Devyn to tell her this is one of my favorite photos ever taken. That’s hard to choose as someone who spends their days capturing mementoes, but sometimes you just catch the exact moment that someone’s world changes. The officiant had just pronounced Devyn & Brock husband and wife and my girl went weak at the knees giddy with excitement. This one, it’s worth a thousand words.

It’s Sunday, May 24th in Loranger, Louisiana. There’s an 80% chance of rain, but we never felt a drop. Devyn & Brock are husband and wife.

One day, one of my couples will shuffle around the dance floor at their grand daughter’s wedding and celebrate 65 years of marriage… What an honor it’ll have been to say I captured their first dance.
