NBA YoungBoy is starting a new chapter, and it's playing out thousands of miles from home. During a sit down on the "Open Thoughts with Funny Marco" podcast, the Baton Rouge rapper confirmed he's now living in South Korea and has zero intention of coming back to the United States. Asked directly if he'd ever return, his answer was short and clear: never in life.

YoungBoy explained the appeal comes down to feeling out of the spotlight, something he said he doesn't get back home. He described the country as safe, clean, and far removed from the noise he grew up around. When it comes to family, he said staying in touch with his kids won't be a problem, joking that planes exist for a reason. His relationship with his mother, he added, isn't really part of the equation anymore.

The move comes after years of legal trouble, including prison time on federal gun charges before a 2025 pardon from President Trump. Since then, YoungBoy has been spotted traveling through Paris, China, Norway, Belgium, and now Seoul, embracing travel he says he never got the chance to experience growing up.

He also opened up about his health, revealing a doctor recently told him the left side of his heart was swollen. He says that diagnosis has him planning for just one or two more albums and a final tour before stepping back from music altogether.
