I’ve taken a big step back from photography this year- not because I don’t love it, but because I love my family more. I felt like I was spending so much time capturing memories for other families, that I was missing out on some of my own. Time is fleeting, and my babies are growing…quickly!!! I’m still working to find balance. I am accepting limited bookings this summer, because I miss it (and all of you). I’m hoping to spend more of my days like this- on the beach with my girls and their cousins, soaking in their missing teeth, squishy cheeks, and genuine love for each other.

Holly & Praveen's wedding at Topnotch Resort last weekend was beyond perfection. Every single detail was planned and executed flawlessly. I'm so glad I got to be a part of it. Congratulations, you two! Full preview to come!

Sometimes you finish a session and you just know it was special. Often, these extra special sessions are with people you feel at home with, and who you love. To know Merri is to love her, and I've been privileged to know her since I taught her in 3rd grade 10 years ago. She is just as incredible now as she was back then. Merri knows how to play AT LEAST 11 instruments (we counted, but may have forgotten some), is wise beyond her years, works hard to succeed at everything she does, and is one of the most kind people you will ever meet. She has her sights set on the University of Rochester in the fall, and hopes to study Biology so that she can work to research and advocate for environmental change.
