Two years ago, I was laying in a hospital bed after having my chest and stomach cut open and having my heart and liver replaced. But just like Rodney Atkins puts it: "If you're going through hell, keep on going."
That’s exactly what I am doing. It hasn't been easy and I have had my ups and downs, but by God’s grace and help from my family, I prevailed.
Now I am on a bigger adventure for 2026 than I ever have been! I’m starting this adventure off with a gumbo challenge on February 7th at the Cowboy Capital of the World: Bandera, Texas.
I’m using all my experience to come in swinging with a very special recipe. For me, it’s not about if I win or lose—it’s about the experience of finding my fire again after getting knocked down.
I may be the Tinman, but I have a heart of iron, and I am ready to use this second chance to spread as much joy as I can!
