NEW WORDS FOR NEPHEWS, week 52! This is it! One year of one (hopefully) new word a week, times two. I learned a lot, I hope they did and I hope whomever has been following this has enjoyed themselves. Words this week are LUCID and EXEMPLARY. Again, no political context is implied...unless you want it to be.

I think facebook has become my mother when I was 13 or so....you haven't posted for awhile, are you sick or something, can I get you some soup, maybe you should eat a nice piece of fruit (fresh produce was her solution to most difficulties). So I have no CRP news, except to thank you all for being so smart and so generous--which is not a combination found in many people, at least in my experience. I hope we can continue meeting, refining, and discovering. Thanks. Alan

Imagining America, CRP 11/09/2015

Members of CRP-Baltimore facilitate a Critical Response Process seminar at the 2015 Imagining America conference in Baltimore.

Hello CRP-Baltimore! I totally forgot until seeing CJay's recent post that we have this collective space in which to share CRP-related thoughts, questions, ideas, opportunities. When I get a moment, I'll share photos from the Imagining America CRP seminar that we facilitated. (Thank you, again, to all who participated!) I'm currently working with a MICA graduate program to incorporate aspects of the process into a year-long practicum advising structure. It's challenging, given that "the artist" is actually a GROUP of students who hail from a range of backgrounds and experiences and who are simultaneously working out their own group dynamic. But it is interesting and hopefully worthwhile! I'm still interested in exploring how CRP can be used in arts-based managerial settings, and how we can use CRP to discuss issues of race, power and equity. How are others engaging with it? Miss you all.

Tomorrow at 5pm Nicole and I Will debrief the Crp process at my show 16th we will also.discuss racial identity and the Crp process. You are welcome to join us
