This is probably by far the simplest review I will ever do on a food spot!

BANGIN' fish & Chicken just opened up their East side location on Bel Air Road. They are basically a subsidiary of the Hip Hop Chicken chain of food spots, in the area.

The service was mediocre. This particular location is not a good one, in my opinion. It's just too small and the parking is a nightmare if you are trying to get in and out. But, I'm a Food Reviewer!

Items I Ordered:
4 pc Whiting / Trout (🗑)
This was a sad example of fried fish. It was basically no fish, just breading, in the shape of a fish. How do you have fish in your company name and it's trash?

5 pc Chicken Tenders (🔥🔥🔥🔥)
The tenders were immaculate The chicken was tender and thick (like I like my women😎) I would order that all day!

6 pc Chicken Box (🔥🔥🔥)
The chicken wings were small, like pigeon wings, but, it wasn-t bad. You def can get a better box elsewhere. With all the meals, they give you a boatload of soggy fries🤮

Cole Slaw (SMACK!👋🏽)
After suffering through the trash a*z trout, I was like, let's see if the Cole slaw is any good. To my shock, it was BANGIN'!!!

OVERALL, the 1st impression wasn-t too good. However, I will go back to try the chicken liver, the flavored tenders, another kind of fish amd some sushi drinks. So, stay locked in for part 2 . So far, I'm not Bangin' with it!💯

In celebration of National Free Donut Day, I wanted to highlight one of my fav spots to get a fantastic donut, along with many other baked goods.

WOODLEA BAKERY has been a staple in Baltimore for 60+ years! Most of us know their Bel Air Road location, but, they also have a location in Bel Air, MD.

All their products are SMACK!💥
That includes donuts, pastries, birthday cakes, you name it! Woodlea Bakery is Quick Bite approved!

It's a real joy to have a dedicated brunch spot, on Towson!

First Watch has been really expanding and I enjoyed my visit to their other MD locations, so, I was excited to come try this one, which is in my neighborhood. The service was good and pleasant.

ITEMS ORDERED:
"Tri-fecta" Breakfast 🔥🔥🔥
With this meal, you can either get a pancale or Waffle, eggs and either turkey, pork or chicken sausage, or bacon. I personally did not like that they literally will only give you one Pancake and one sausage. It looked weird and I felt like they got skimpy.

"Purple Haze" juice 🔥🔥🔥
Pea flower tea, lavender, lemon and Cane sugar. It tasted like watered down green tea. But, I did feel refreshed after sipping on it.

"Biscuit 'n Gravy' 🔥🔥🔥🔥
The biscuits tasted freshly made and the gravy was rich.

"Morning Meditation"🔥🔥🔥
Orange, lemon, turmeric, organic ginger, agave nectar and beet. The definition of acquired taste. I didn't care for this drink, but, my date loved it.

We, also, ordered sides of home potatoes and a fruit cup. The potatoes were SMACK💥. The fruit cup was 🗑. How dare they serve a fruit cup with brown a*z grapes, then, have the nerve to male it visible?!?!?!

Overall, everything tasted good (the juices are an acquired taste, tho). Everything came up to less than $50. You could definitely go somewhere else and get more breakfast for less.I kind of didn't like the small portions, but, such is life with the way inflation is going. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone trying to have a nice brunch outing, in a spacious area. They also offer indoor and outdoor seating.

My go-to is the Shrimp Crab & Cheese Empanada, the Chopped Cheese Chimi and the Passion Fruit Lemonade.
