We are THRILLED to see our 3 Tier Isabella Lantern installed in the magnificent showroom!! We love and we are fantasizing about all the customizable possibilities on this beauty!

Putting the finishing touches on this massive Deco inspired mural for that will be going on the ceiling of their penthouse amenities floor. We painted it in 4 sections of canvas in our shop and rented space at so we could see it all put together! We are honored with Insight Property Group gave us the opportunity to be involved in this spectacular project!

Loving this custom little Leahy End Table in our Faux Tortoiseshell! Tbh we love doing our Tortie on anything f and everything!

Love seeing this in situ show of our custom bench for local clients of the ever so talented ! If you look closely, you can spot our Dalou Chandelier peeking ouf of the top right corner🤗

Huge thanks to for blessing us with some much needed uplifting content! So exciting to see our custom walnut coffee table installed in this dreamy master suite!

I spy with my little eye...a new window display! This was inspired by the Lover’s Eye jewelry worn by English aristocrats in the 18th century depicting the eye of a spouse or lover👁

BEHOLD! This custom XXL Marie Lantern we made for was a feat in engineering and we are beyond thrilled to see it installed in it’s forever home! This space is a true showstopper!

Reminiscing about this massive 5’ tall Moroccan Lantern we made last year!

Leave it to to come up with the most effortlessly chic styling for the ! A custom piece of eglomise glass made by us is paired with an cocktail table, accented by treasures collected over the years and a colorful spray of tulips! Absolute perfection👌

Wow! Our Marie Lantern could not be more perfect for this freshly completed great room by !

This gorgeous dining room screams and our Carousel Chandelier has never looked as good as it does here, paired with hand painted wallpaper🤩

Appreciation post for , our Project Manager, Chief Morale Booster, aunt to shop dogs, my absolute best and dearest friend, and newest workshop assistant! We have been running on a skeleton crew since getting back to work after Covid and Anne has stepped up to help us keep up our projects moving along. She has such a natural talent for this side of our business and we hope she decides to stick around in the shop💜

Here’s an update on the dressing room makeover! The chandelier is a McLain Wiesand spec piece and the sconces were cobbled together from antique parts and ’s very convincing Tiffany inspired chandelier crystals✨

Hi friends and sorry for the long absence! We are getting back into a groove and finding things to appreciate about our new normal. For example, this gorgeous shot of our Tripod Table with a cast brain coral top in this dreamy interior by . Spending months inside this home would be a treat!

We have made the decision to temporarily close our shop for the safety of our McLain Wiesand team and entire community. We will still be available via emails and DMs and we will do everything in our power to keep up with deadlines, but right now our priority is to “flatten the curve” and stay safe❤️

For all New Englanders, and all Americans, this Saint Patrick’s was more a day of reflection than one of revelry. No one knows for sure what the next days ahead hold. However, at The M-Geough Company, we will rise to meet them and to support our Boston design community, as we have for generations.

Almost a century ago, a widowed Irish single mother had taste, talent and tenacity. Therese Tozer McGeough’s work ethic as an interior designer formed the roots of , during a time when the Irish were not as celebrated in Boston. Against every odd, she supported her family with her craft. To fight racism, she changed her name and named her business T.A. M-Geough.
Her son and later his wife, James and Sarah “Sally” M-Geough, opened the doors of the M-Geough Company and continued the visionary antiques and fine furnishings legacy. His son, Jim and his wife Susan have championed the business for years to come. Now in 2020, Jim and Susan are still innovating, still demanding excellence and still supporting their manufacturers and design clients.
While we shared the inspiring story of in San Francisco over the weekend, today we share ours. We are committed to supporting the New England trade colleagues and our widespread manufacturers through the uncertainty and on to continued to success. May the luck of the Irish that has blessed the M-Geough family and supported the creativity of generations of designers, bless you and your families this Saint Patrick’s Day. Say hello to the newest additions to our showroom! This pair of crumbling life size plaster statues have the most INCREDIBLE patina from sitting outside for 20+ years. Stay tuned to watch as we attempt to piece these babies back together😬

How did we make our Brain Coral top for the Tripod Table, you ask? Swipe ↔️ to see the massive piece of real brain coral that we used to make the mold for our plaster top. inherited this magnificent piece of brain coral from his grandfather, my great grandfather! This little gem is headed off to so make sure to stop in to see it in person!
