-Community leaders change.

But since 2008, the Rays keep failing to complete a new ballpark deal.

SAME STATE EXPANSION?

The three biggest US States have multiple MLB teams, (California, Texas, Florida).

They also have fast growing cities that want MLB Expansion:

⚾️AUSTIN TEXAS is the biggest market without a major league team in the top four sports. With San Antonio (79 miles away) they would be in a top ten market.

⚾️ORLANDO FLORIDA is the top TV market without MLB. They also get 80 million tourists annually.

⚾️SACRAMENTO CALIFORNIA is a large market with a history of supporting baseball, reinforced by the high attendance of the Athletics.
