If you couldn’t join my Live on Tuesday, that’s okay because I’ll be going Live again today over on TikTok, reading my second romance novel Discovery: Love through the Lens. The Minions and I would love to have you!!

Live starts at 5PM Eastern.

Since each chapter of Discovery: Love through the Lens starts with the character's name and the date, not only will each chapter header have an icon to distinguish whose chapter is whose, but at the beginning of Chapters 1 and 37 (when it becomes December), there will be pages from Catherine's planner so readers can identify when each event is happening.

Discovery is going to be so full of goodies, and I can't wait to launch it this Fall!

I have a lot to be proud of lately.

1. I have written two novels in ninety days.
2. If you tack on the fanfiction, I've written a novella and two novels in four months.
3. I'll be publishing my first novel, Of Sight and Stone, within the next month.
4. I'll be publishing my next novel, Discovery: Love through the Lens, by October/November.

While editing Of Sight and Stone, I have also been writing my second novel, Discovery: Love Through the Lens.

I have roughly five chapters left to write of the second, which means it’s looking like I’ll have two books out by the end of the year.

I was proud of myself when I finished Of Sight and Stone, but Lordy, Lordy, I never imagined I could do it twice.

Here’s to the rest of 2026, and whatever it brings.

I really cannot thank you all enough for the support in deciding to push the book launch back. It really means a lot— Thank you.

It’s looking like I’m going to have to push back the release date from June 25 to something in late July.

As much as I don’t want to, I’m going to pull back the curtain a little here and tell you a bit about what’s been going on.

Throughout this process, I’ve been working with a vanity publisher, someone who partners with authors and assists them in the self-publishing process.

Back in April, I sent them a copy of my finished manuscript. What I received back, unfortunately, was obviously edited using ChatGPT (or another similar AI program) and the text had been completely sanitized of my voice.

So, I’m scrapping everything they did and going back to the April manuscript for a final pass and final edit.

I have essentially lost months of potential work and now have to push the release date back even further to ensure I have time to receive a proof copy before Of Sight and Stone is available for purchase.

To say that I’m discouraged is an understatement. Part of me doesn’t even want to publish it anymore.

I was really looking forward to the launch later this month and the eventual author signing, but hopefully, if all goes according to plan, you’ll be able to purchase a copy of my debut novel Of Sight and Stone by July 24th and get a signed copy sometime in September.

Currently obsessed with adding actual documents to the narrative within Discovery: Love Through The Lens.
