The Little Prince is a novella by French aviator and writer Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, first published in 1943, that tells the story of a pilot stranded in the Sahara who meets a young prince from a tiny asteroid.

The book is a poetic and philosophical tale, illustrated by the author, that critiques the adult world through the prince’s journey and encounters with various characters, exploring themes of love, friendship, loss, and the importance of seeing with the heart rather than just the eyes.

It is one of the most translated and beloved books in the world, often seen as a children’s story but with profound messages for all ages.

Walk with History was invited to visit the French Embassy in Washington DC and recall the friendship of our countries for the past 250 years.
