STATEWIDE BURN BAN IN EFFECT UNTIL NOVEMBER 30.

Long Island fire units have already deployed to aid in the efforts to extinguish and reduce fire spread in upstate New York. Members of the Baldwin Fire Department will head up this weekend to continue the push.

Please take the warning seriously to keep your friends and neighbors safe.

Governor Hochul Provides Update on Wildfires Impacting New York State Governor Hochul provided an update on wildfires burning across New York State and has deployed a multi-agency response to fires in Orange and Ulster counties in close coordination with local fire departments and first responders.

As Daylight Saving Time comes to a close tomorrow morning, now is a great time to check the batteries in your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. These small and seemingly insignificant devices SAVE LIVES.

This morning, the Baldwin Fire Department Peer Support Team, along with department members and their families, participated in the American Foundation For Su***de Prevention 5k walk at Jones Beach. We could not have asked for a more beautiful day to remember those we have lost to su***de. Together we are taking strides to break the stigma by asking for help!
