These two puppies were dumped at San Lauren Park. They are super sweet and social with people. Also, great with kids (obviously 😝) and good with dogs!

I haven’t spent any time at the shelter lately since student teaching and my own school have taken up all of my time. I’ve had the luxury of not having to “deal” with this type of thing lately. However, just because you turn away from something doesn’t stop it from happening (that can be said for many things…). This is still something I care so deeply about, and I wanted to help.

I am sick and TIRED of people dumping their dogs. There is no excuse. Even if you can’t afford the dogs, there are better solutions than dumping these poor innocent souls. They were so hungry and thirsty. They would have likely been hit by a car if no one took them.

I’ll say it again, THERE IS NO EXCUSE TO DUMP A DOG. EVER.

These sweet babies are now at and will be available for adoption on 10/1/25.

Video coming soon. Please share. I HATE taking dogs to the shelter. I know how overwhelmed they are with space and sickness. But this choice was the right one.

Tank is one of the best dogs we have met. He’s happy, loving, obedient and quiet. He has zero deficits. He got along great with our other dogs, was great in the car (laid down in 5 minutes) and he so longs for gentle touches while relaxing with you. You will be very happy with Tank and thanks for giving him a try! 😊
