After 10 years the is no longer launching a new race season. Instead they will be focusing on the WeRock series. I can’t say enough about this race series. It helped us learn how to race, it made racing affordable(ish), and it introduced us to some amazing people. Oh yea, it was the reason we raced Crandon and Sturgis during bike week. Thank you Rich and Shelley for an amazing time and some our favorite memories!!
Somebody is still afraid of the new siren...
We are testing our new siren from Code3IT.com. We always had trouble with our traditional horns and sirens becoming waterlogged and failing. This sealed setup is designed for the harshest off-road racing elements. Can’t wait to get out and try it soon!!

Not all races go according to plan. Some go completely wrong...today was one of those times. The Jeep was Super Fast, smooth, and running cool all race. Unfortunately, on the first lap, we came across a down course marker and we went the wrong way. That resulted in us getting dinged for short coursing and a 12 minute penalty, boo. On the third lap we had a harsh hit, really harsh. The hit caused a broken brake line, bent lower control arm, blown out suspension joint(s) and likely some whiplash. Because of that, the last lap and a half was basically a parade lap.
Still, even with that many issues, we had a great time. The good news: our Solid Axle Ind. front Dana 44 survived the hit, our trans cooling issues are fixed, and the MCE Fenders kept us dry on a very wet race course.
Looks and sounds like we are ready for Rausch Creek Off Road Park W.E.ROCK Events .

So, this is a non - race related post. We decided to build a near stock LJ and take it to Easter Jeep Safari just to be "different". With all the folks racing wallets at EJS we went the opposite route and went back to the basics . . . like Waylon in Luckenbach. Built by Rensselaer County Customs with parts from TNT Customs, Crown Automotive Sales Co Inc, and BedRug this jeep came together quick (less than two weeks) . . . THANKS JON!!! Thanks also to LINE-X Total Truck Center for your help on the first day!
